My mom and dad came to visit us for a few days in Indiana. Kaycee was soooo excited! We played at the park and at the pool and went shopping and then grandma and grandpa were nice enough to drive me and the babies back to Utah for a few days to visit our family so everyone could meet baby Brody.

It's taken me a while to finally get this post up, but better late than never : ) Friday afternoon I decided it was time to drink some castor oil and get my little bun out of the oven. I drank the castor oil at about 2 o' clock in the afternoon and then went for a 30 min walk with Kaycee and my mom. I went to bed at about 11 o' clock Friday night feeling a bit crampy, (i didn't know i was having contractions since I didnt know what they had felt like yet). I woke up to what i thought were terrible poop cramps because of the castor oil, at about 1:30 in the morning. I sat on the toilet for a little while thinking something would happen, but of course nothing happened. So I got back into bed to try and fall back to sleep and as soon as I laid down, my water broke!! I was soooo happy but contractions were awful!! We ended up getting to the hospital a little after 2 and we found out i was only 2 centimeters dialated.. an hour later i was at a 3 and then 2 more hours later i was ready to push. I pushed for about 30 min and he was out!! We were so happy that everything went well for having a VBAC. He came out at a suprisingly small 8 pounds 4 ounces, (small for us). So happy to have him here and so happy to not have a c section! : )

So Nathan and I got food poisoning on Wednesday. So needless to say, Kaycee got away with a lot of things on Thursday. Nathan and I were both to sick and tired to do anything but lay on the couch the entire day. But around 11 or so, we both fell asleep on the couch, so Kaycee took that opportunity to do what we never let her do. She decided to play in the bathroom where there just happen to still be water in the bathtub from Nathan's bath earlier that morning, and she threw everything she could find into the bath. So when we woke up from a forty minute nap, there were toys, water bottles, stuffed animals, and our television remote control all in the bathtub.
She just smiled at us and asked to take a bath, so we couldn't get mad at the girl. Luckily my sister came and picked Kaycee up that afternoon so that we could really rest. Lasted 2 days, but those have been that most relaxing 2 days that i have had since i have been pregnant. (except for the throwing up the first couple of hours)

Things have been pretty crazy for us the past few months. We got the chance to go on a cruise with the company Nathan works for Northstar in October. Then a week later we got the chance to go to Hawaii for our 3 year anniversary for 10 days and had sooo much fun. We got to go with Nathan's sister and her husband.

While we were in Hawaii we decided that we were gonna move to Utah for the next six months before leave again for another summer. We are living in a cute little home in Eagle Mountain. We also found out that we are having a baby boy. Nathan is soooo excited, but i have found it really hard to shop for this little guy. Shopping for Kaycee was just so easy and everything seemed to be so cute, but I really just don't like boy stuff, its just not as fun for me : ( I wish it was.

This year Nathan and I were on a cruise during Halloween, but Kaycee's cousin Trenton had a Halloween birthday party this year and she got to dress up. Were Pregnant!! Nathan and I are soooo excited! It only took us 2 months this time around... (Better than the 10 months it took with Kaycee) I am due around the 1st of May and I am most excited that I will get to spend most of my pregnancy with friends and family and in Winter and Spring. It was not fun for me being pregnant all summer and spending most days alone in Minnesota and Colorado while my hubby worked all day. No sickness for me.. Just my usual tiredness and a little bit of feeling queasy, but nothing that a little sleep and food can help with : )

Kaycee turned 11 months old yesterday. I can not believe how fast it has gone by! I don't even know what i would be doing without her these day. She is my little sidekick and I could not ask for a better baby girl!! She is sleeping anywhere between 9 to 11 hours at night and takes two good 2 - 2 1/2 naps. She is so smart and love to just talk talk talk!!! Not real word, but she does say mama and dada and cheese and please and NO and the rest is just jibberish. She makes us so so happy and we love watching her grow and learn every single day. : )

For the 4th of July weekend this year my brother Ryan and my sister Kaylee came out to visit and to play with me and Kaycee. We had a ton of fun. We spent the day at Elitch Gardens, and went to Claim Jumper (a Casey family favorite).
We also went to Duffy's Cherry Cricket a burger joint out here in Denver that has the most amazing hamburgers that i have ever eaten.. Ryan and Kaylee seemed to like it too. : )
Then on the 4th of July we went to our new friends Jarek and Denise's house for a 4th of July BBQ with Danny and Stephanie and Carter. (Jarek is our friend who took us on a helicopter ride, and who Nathan sold a security system to). We had some amazing polish sausages and lots of yummy dips that Denise made for us and some really good fresh fruit.. Sooo good! We played some games, and when it got dark we were able to be right in front watching some amazing fireworks. Kaycee love love loved the fire works.. She would not take her eyes off of the sky. We were so happy that Ryan and Kaylee came to visit us, and we had so much fun!!

This morning Nathan and I had the chance to go on a helicopter ride with our new friend Jarek. Nathan met him a few weeks ago here in Denver. He actually sold him and his wife a home security system. He is super nice and offered us a helicopter ride. He really just needs to get some hours in the air so he can get his official license so we figured why not?? A free ride over Denver, and neither me or nathan have ever been in a helicopter so we thought it would be fun!

I know i'm her mom, but she is probably one of the cutest babies I have ever seen!!

I just put Kaycee down for her nap and i can't stop thinking about how much i just love this girl!! Were already planning on baby #2 right now but then i think how can I love another baby as much as I love Kaycee?? She is my everything these days.. She lets me just talk and talk and talk to her whenever I am happy or angry or anything and she just smiles and laughs at me and I love it!!
She loves her daddy so much and gets so happy end excited every night when he gets home from work and Nathan just loves to play with her and it makes me so happy! I love my little family! We are so happy together.
I can't wait til the summer is over so that Kaycee can start playing with her cousins again and getting to know them. I grew up knowing and playing with my cousins all of my life and I want Kaycee to have the same thing. She is the best.. She is very very active so she needs more than just her mommy to play with. She gets to play with her Carter friend almost everyday, but he is still to young to play with her.. She always just wants to play with his long hair..(I think she is jealous of his long hair ; ) )
And she is quite the fish.. She loves to swim! As soon as we get into the pool she wants to swim right out of my arms. She doggie paddles and kicks like she is swimming and it is sooooo cute! I just wish she could so that I didn't have to hold her on her belly the entire time. She love to be dunked under the water as well.. Looks like daddy is gonna have a surfing buddy in the next few years : )

Yesterday Nathan and Danny finally got to go with Stephanie and I and the babies to the Elitch Gardens waterpark. We got season passes for the summer so it is really nice to just go to the park for a couple of hours and then take the babies home to nap. Its wonderful! We went at about 10am and left at about 12:30pm so that the boy could get home and shower and get to work. We had a ton of fun and the babies love it : )

Its been a while since i have been on to blog... But Kaycee has been keeping me one busy mamma. Kaycee will be 9 months next week! I cant believe how fast it has gone by. She is such an amazing girl and Nathan and I love her so much! She has 6 teeth, (2 bottom and 4 top). She is quite the eater (how she only weighs 17 pounds is the big question, she must have her daddy's amazing metabolism.) She is wearing 9 - 12 month clothes and looks super cute in anything she wears : )
Kaycee love love loves to swim. I love taking her to the pool because she loves it so much, but it is so hard because she wont sit in her floaty for very long and when i hold her she just wants to swim right out of my arms. She is crazy! : )
Kaycee love to stand herself up on the couches and tables and chairs and bathtubs, and pretty much anything that she can reach.. She is a very very active baby. She is also a very good crawler, and very good at finding the littlest things on the ground that she can put into her mouth. She crawls so fast sometimes that i have to run to catch her. She especially likes to crawl around at church during sacrament.. The girl will not sit still during church at all, so it is really hard for Nathan and I to pay attention during church. But we have so much fun with her and she is so stinkin adorable that we don't even know how to get mad at her :)

On Sunday we had the chance to go to the park with Danny and Stephanie and Carter. We had so much fun. It was so fun to see Kaycee playing on the swing and laughing as she would go down the slide. She was sooooo cute! Carter was just watching Kc swing... Kc has 3 months on him, so he thought he would just watch her. We had so much fun that we decided that we are going to have a BBQ next week at the same park. It is such a pretty park and there is so much to do there.

Right after she got her ears pierced, she was about 5 months old and I love it on her!!

We are now living in Denver Colorado for the summer. We like it here a lot and Nathan has been doing pretty well, and there is a Cafe Rio here, so its a pretty good area! So far so good for us : )

Kaycee will be 7 months tomorrow and she is still as cute as a button! We love her so much and she just keeps getting more and more fun! She has 4 teeth now that have come thru.. She has 2 bottom and two top ones, but they are the 2 side teeth and not the middle ones, so she looks a little like a vampire when she smiles : ) She is crawling all over the place, and there is no stopping that little girl when she sees something that she can get to.. She crawls so stinkin fast to get to what she wants! She is also quite the talker.. She will just talk my our ears off when we are driving in the car, or she will just sit and growl at us.. Kind of cute, but kind of weird with the whole growling thing. She still has big blue eyes and it looks like her hair is getting lighter and lighter each day, but she still looks like a little bald baby. She is 16.5 pounds now, and were trying to put some weight on her long skinny body, but nothing is working... She does have this cute little roll on her legs.. Its little and barely there, but its cute : )

These past 2 weeks Kaycee and I have had the chance to be with my family up here in Utah. Its been a ton of fun, and i thought that i would take a lot more pictures than i actually did. We had a birthday party last night for my grandma who turns 70 tomorrow. It was really fun and it is so fun to have Kaycee aroound everyone, she just loves it.. She likes a lot of attention, and when she is with my family she definately gets it : )

Today Nathan took the day off and we went to the beach with Nathans sisters and kids. Today was the first day that we actually took Kaycee in the water. She was so stinkin cute! She didnt love it, but she didn't really mind it either. I think that if the water wasn't so cold she would have loved it! But we all had a ton of fun, and it was such an awesome presidents day!

She holds her bottle now! With help from us sometimes.. She is getting so big so fast. She loves to roll all over the place and is now starting to scoot herself around. She can scoot backwards but not forwards yet. She love to talk, (especially during church). She is such an amazing baby girl. She sleep thru the night from 9pm til 7am. She takes 2 two hour naps a day and mommy just loves it! Kaycee is just amazing and couldn't ask for a better baby girl!

This year we had the chance to visit my family in Utah. Kaycee got to see the snow for the first time and she got to meet her aunt Katie for the first time too. She is just the best baby ever and we just can't get enough of our little monkey!

3 Months Old

Kaycee is such a big girl now! It is so amazing how much she has changed, she just gets more and more beautiful each and every single day! She is 3 months old now as of yesterday. I just love love love her to pieces!! She is our snuggly little love bug! She just brings us more and more happiness each and everyday! :) It seemed so hard at first, but now she is just part of routines just naturally. We love watching her grow and learn each day:

~She is now 11.5 pounds and 26 inches long

~She has big blue eyes and her hair has gotten so much lighter than when she was born.. Were hoping for blonde in the long run :)

~She has mommy's long slender toes and fingers :)

~She is very tall for her age.. she fits into 6-12 pants that fit length wise but kind of big around her waist, and same with her pajamas, so we try to get the pajamas without feet so she can wear them longer.

~She loves sitting on her bumbo so that she can see everything that is going on around her

~She will smile at anyone at anytime. (Except when she is hungry or tired)

~She sleeps between 7-9 hours a night and of we are lucky enough she will sleep 10-12 hours, and those nights are the best!

~Loves sucking on her hand, and I'm pretty sure she is getting ready to start teething. (We can feel a little bump on her bottom gums...Not too excited about teething)

~She loves giving mommy and daddy hugs! (I think we like it more!)

~She has been on 4 airplane rides and was very good on all of them.

~She has been on two road trips to Utah and two road trips to Santa Maria

~Has been to Disneyland

~And of course she had been to the beach on many occasions to watch daddy surf

Lucky for us we are in Utah for Christmas with my family, so we are pretty excited to see what KC thinks of the snow! It has been so dry here and so her poor skin on her cheeks and nose are so dry and chapped :( Poor girl.. Were hoping it will not last too long since we will be here for 2 weeks visiting.

I know this is a little late, but this thanksgiving we had the chance to go to Santa Maria with Nathans family. It was fun having all of Nathan's sisters and their husbands and kids, and Nathans brother Steven. Since we were all together we were able to take a big family picture.
We had a ton of fun all weekend eating tons and tons of food, playing ping pong, tennis, volleyball, and of course some surfing for Nathan. It was a great sunny thanks giving, and now we are geting ready to have CHRISTMAS in freezing cold Utah here in a couple of weeks!

On November 1, Nathan had the chance to bless Kaycee. She was sooo good, and Nathan gave her such a beautiful blessing. He said he was really nervous, but he did great! We finally got to take some family pictures that one of my best friends Kristin took, and they all turned out soooo good. Kaycee looked so beautiful in her blessing dress and we are so happy to have her as a part of our family. I can't believe that she is already 7 1/2 weeks old. She is such a blessing, and we are so glad that she is here.

A Day At The Beach

We went to the beach on Monday with Nathan's family. Kaycee loves the beach. This was her third time. She got to watch mommy and daddy play beach volleyball for a couple of hours. This was my first time since I have had Kaycee that i have gotten to do any real physical activity and it felt so good! She was such a good girl and she could just lay there for hours watching us play. I cant wait til she is old enough to play at the beach herself.

Yesterday was Nathan's 27th birthday, and we took Kaycee and daddy to Disneyland. Nathan and his brother in law Joel and our nephew Jackson were part of the washboard band and everyone around sang Happy Birthday to Nathan :) We were hoping to get a picture with one of the characters for Kaycee's first trip, but we didn't see one, so we weren't able to. :( But we did have a lot of fun :) Happy Birthday Nathan!! I LOVE YOU!!
Than this morning we went to the beach so that Nathan could do some surfing, (because that is really what he wanted to do for his birthday) so today was Kaycee's first trip to the beach too. This is just a week of firsts for our baby girl :)

I don't even know what to say, I just love love love being a mom! Kaycee is just so precious and i just love every little thing about her. Even though she put me through a lot and still trying to recover from the C section, she is worth every minute of pain and all those sleepless nights. She is just so beautiful to me and Nathan!
She only wakes up once or twice a night and usually the second time we have to wake her up because i am afraid she isn't getting enough to eat if i don't wake her up. She is such the snuggle bug. She love love loves be snuggled up with people. She just wants to be cuddled all the time and i just love cuddling with her. I think i am a little bit of a baby hog :)
And i also just want to say that Nathan is the best Daddy and husband that me and Kaycee could even ask for! He has changed almost every single one of Kaycee's diapers and has done all the laundry and cleaning and has made most of our breakfasts lunches and dinners. It has been so hard for me to do much of anything since the surgery and Nathan has been there for me.. He had to even help me take showers at first and is so gentle and loving. I couldn't ask for a better husband than him. He is the best! I LOVE YOU NATHAN!

Friday is the Day!

So it looks like we will be having Kaycee this Friday. She is still breech and still a big girl. The doctor is cutting me open on Friday and we will finally be able to meet our precious baby girl! I am so excited, but at the same time i am soooo nervous. I have never had an operation before so it is kind of scary.. I am so relieved that i know when she will be here, and so relieved that i won't have to be pregnant anymore!! : ) So just 5 days to go!!

37 week Ultrasound

We went to the doctor on Friday an got an ultrasound done because the doctor thought that Kaycee was huge. (Which she is) They measured her at 8 pounds 1 ounce, and we still have 2 weeks to go! She is also breech, which isn't looking too good for me, so hopefully she can turn around somehow even with how huge she is, and hopefully she doesn't come too much later because i'm not sure i really want her to get any bigger.
We kind of figured she would be a big girl because Nathan was born 8 pounds 9 ounces and i was born 9 pounds 3 ounces and i was the smallest of 6 kids. So this was kind of expected.. What was not expected was how stinkin painful it is to walk and get out of bed in the middle of the night. Her butt and her back are sitting right on my right hip, so that doesn't really help me too much.

Baby Shower

Right before i got back home 2 weeks ago, my sisters threw me a baby shower in Utah whith allof my close friends and family. It was super fun and Kaycee got so many cute outfits! My most favorite dress that she got was her blessing dress. It is so beautiful and i cant wait to put it on her! :) It was so good to see friends that i haven't been able to see in a long time, and I always love hanging out with my aunts and cousins and mom and sisters! 7 1/2 weeks to go!

Im 32 1/2 weeks now, but this picture was taken at 31 weeks. Just when you think that you really can't get any bigger, you wake up in the morning, and you get bigger, and bigger and bigger. I have 7 1/2 weeks left and i couldn't be more excited! It seems like it is so far away, yet it is soooo close.. She is quite the acrobat in my belly. She is constantly moving around and sometimes I think she is doing flips in there, i'm sure of it! I love it, but I really hate it at night when i'm trying to sleep. Nathan can't figure out why I sleep in so late, but i'll tell you, it's because she is practicing her gymnastics during bed time :)
We don't even have anything for Kaycee yet. My mom has bought her a few outfits but that's it. My sisters are throwing me a baby shower in Utah on the 19th so we will see what we get there, but i know that Nathan and I have a lot of shopping to do when we get back home to California. :) I'm so excited for it, but Nathan isn't so much.. He is not much of a shopper.

Quick Utah Trip...

Nathan and I had the chance to go to Utah last weekend. Nathan had to go to a training retreat for work and i was lucky enough to come along so that I can see my family. It was a very fun trip. (Except for the 8 hour drive there and back .) Nathan got to do some wake boarding and had a ton of fun and learned a lot more about this new company we are working for.
I just hung out with my mom and we did some shopping for Kaycee and got to visit with my aunts and uncles and brothers and sisters. It was nice having people to hang out with all day long. Being away every summer gets pretty lonely when you have a husband gone all day. :( But in 2 weeks i get to go back for 2 weeks while Nathan finishes up working here in Colorado, and i am sooooo excited :)
I wish we would have taken pictures while we were there, but we totally forgot.. The only picture we took were at church sittting in the foyer. (Its too hot and stuffy to sit in the sunday school room, so Nathan sits in the foyer with me.)

This is kind of late news, but 2 weeks ago Nathan and I moved to Denver Colorado. We love, love, love it here! At least i know i love it way more here than i ever did in Minnesota. It just feels so much more like home here than Minnesota ever did. I think the fact that I crave Del Taco and Chic Fil A and Panda quite often makes it a lot better out here too! They don't have any of those places to eat in Minnesota.. Not to mention they have a Claim Jumper here!! My all time favorite restaurant :) That means Nathan has to take me there for my birthday next week! :)
Nathan seems to be doing a lot better here so that makes the move 100% worth it! :) It was probably the longest drive ever to me! I swelled up like a balloon during the 12 hour drive but it was nice to do the long drive in one day. When it gets dark we like to watch movies on the lap top to make the drive go by a lot quicker. :)
There is one negative thing about the move, and it is only the fact that we got unfurnished apartments.. And let me tell you, it is sooo difficult to be getting up and down from the ground constantly because there is nowhere to sit. Luckily Nathan found us an ugly brown couch with orange stripes, but it is super comfortable :) It only cost us $20 off of craigslist.
So, overall this was an awesome move! And knowing that i am only 6 or 7 hours away from my family makes it a lot better :)

These are some of our pictures of our trip out to Minnesota. Nathan insisted that we take pictures at every state line that we came to. We go all the states but Iowa.. Iowa's state line was above the freeway so we didn't really get the chance to stop. I forgot about these pics, they have just been sitting around in the camera so we finally were able to put them on the computer last night. :)

Water Park of America

Last weekend we had the chance to go to the Water Park of America, which is suppose to be the biggest indoor water park in America. Nathan and Josh were pretty excited to do some surfing and boogie boarding. (This is the closest thing we have to a wave for the boys to surf on). It was a lot of fun and there was so much to do there. We didn't get to take too many pictures because the boys took up all the memory in the camera for their videos.
The indoor water park is awesome because it was all indoor. There was no worrying about putting on sunscreen or getting over heated. I would have loved to of gotten some sun, but i realized that it is so much nicer not having to worry about getting burned or getting too tired from the sun!

Kaycee's Bedding

I went on E bay today to start looking for some baby stuff for Kaycee (who is gonna be here before we know it) and found the perfect bedding! I love it! I actually had a dream about the zebra bedding with the pink in it, so I thought I would look it up. I got it for $71.00! Nathan is gonna love me for that :) I am super excited to see it and to use it. Now all we need is a crib for the baby and the bedding will be set!!

6 Months!

I am finally six months along! It feels like its been forever, but at the same time i can't believe that i am already 6 months along. Everyone has been asking about pictures, so here is finally one (i don't like pictures these days, my face and arms have gotten huge!). We are so excited for Kaycee to come and can't hardly wait! She is a very active baby. I feel her moving around the most at night and right when i get home from the gym in the mornings :) I love it!!

Nathan and I finally agreed on a name for our baby girl last night. We decided on Kaycee Laine Speaker. We thought it would be nice to keep my maiden name in the family and so instead of it being spelled Casey, we changed it to Kaycee (I think its much cuter) . Her middle name is also part of my family name. My dad and brother RJ's middle name is Lane, and my little sister Kaylee's middle name is Elaine so we just kind of did a mixture of both the names. (I wanted Elaine, but Nathan said it sounded too much like an old woman name.) But I like that it is just Laine now, its kind of different and its really growing on me.
I have to admit we had been thinking about the name Kaycee for a while, but i watched One Tree Hill last night and Payton (whose last name is Saywer) named her baby girl Sawyer, and so she pretty much helped us make our decision :)

Nathan and I went to the doctor last Tuesday to find out what we were having, but the baby wouldn't show us anything :( So when we got to Utah this week, we went to a place in the mall called Fetal Photos and we got to find out that we are having a GIRL!!
Nathan was so sure we were gonna have a boy, so when he found out it was a girl, he was a little disappointed. When i found out it was a girl i was soooo excited!! Nathan is starting to picture having a cute little princess, so he is beginning to get a little excited. :)

Change of Plans...

So it looks like we wont be living in Texas this summer. We are moving to Minneapolis Minnesota on Thursday. Nathan decided to go with a new company called Elevate, which is a bundle service of telephones, internet, television, and home security. He is super excited, so I am excited too... :)
I am excited to live in a new place, but there doesn't seem like there is too many things to do Minnesota. I did find out that the Mall of America is there, so that will be fun to check out a few times. The only other good thing is that it wont be super hot and humid so it will be nice to be in a cooler climate during the last 4 months of my pregnancy! :)

Another Summer in Texas...

So it looks like were gonna spend another summer in Texas this year. This year we are going to be in Houston, and Nathan is selling with Northstar for another summer. There are definately some pros and cons to it, but i think more pros than cons..

Pros:
~ Nathan is going to start making money again :)

~ Nathan gets to be with all of his best buds for another summer

~My Grandma and Grandpa Casey live in Houston and i can't wait to visit them :)

~Galvastan is only 30 minutes away, which means we will be by a beach all summer!

~What-a-burger and their amazing biscuits and gravy

~ Amazing BBQ joints. (we haven't found any BBQ place out here that even compare)

Cons:

~The dreadful heat and humid!!!! (I dont think these boys know what their in for this summer! Its not even fun to gt in the pool in the summer time in Houston..)

~Being 9 months pregnant in the dreadful heat and humidity!

~Not having my best friends with me out there :( (which means no baby shower)

~The BIG HUGE bugs

I think this is gonna be a great summer... as long as im not outside too much :) Believe it or not, i am actually pretty excited for the summer, and i think Nathan is gonna do awesome this year! He is such a good hard worker and improves each year, and i dont see why this year would be any different. He is the BEST! I love him sooo much and he has been such a peach since i have been pregnant! (I've been pretty crazy and homonal) We leave on April 24th right after i have my ultrasound to see what i am going to have :)

I had a doctors appointment yesterday, and we finally got a picture of our baby :) We were only suppose to hear the heartbeat, but we weren't able to hear it :( The doctor said that we just weren't able to hear the heart beat because the placenta was too thick. We saw the heart beating and it was so awesome :) We are so excited, we find out if we are having a boy or girl on April 24th. Here is the picture or our sweet baby! :)

This last weekend Nathan and I, and my best friend Mandi and Nathan's brother Steven all went to the Rascal Flatts concert with Jessica Simpson as the opening act at the Verizon Wireless ampitheater in Irvine. It was way fun. We bought just the lawn seats and it was terrible. Nathan ended up seeing one of his friends and we ended up getting pretty decent seats.. It was so awesome. This was our second Rascal Flatts concert, so we were really just super excited to see Jessica Simpson!! I was so excited.. I have wanted to see Jessica Simpson since I was in high school. So fun!!

This last weekend we had the chance to go to Disneyland with my aunt and uncle and cousins from Utah. (We love going to Disneyland, we go almost once a week.) It was so much fun.. Nathans family went too, it was Stevens birthday and he turned 23!! It was a ton of fun. It wasnt as crowded as we thought it would be (for a friday.) It was so much fun with all the kids, and it was so cute to see how excited they all were about everything, kids are so much fun at Disneyland!! Here are some pics of our fun day!

Valentines Day!

For Valentines day this year Nathan got me some of my favorite roses. They are white with pink tips. I loved them!! He is so awesome! I think Valentines day has been the only day in these past couple of weeks where i actually go ready to go out with nathan and he loved it.. It took me about 3 hours just to get ready just because i cant seem to get things done quickly these days.. I'm always tired and nausious and hungry all at the same time.Its terrible :( We had thechance to go to dinner at one of my most favorite resteraunts, Claim Jumper, (we did that on Friday night) and then on saturday night we went and saw the movie "He's just not into you." I thought it was way good, and Nathan loved it too! Then yesterday. (because it was booked on Valentines day) Nathan and i were able to go to Massage Envy and get a couples massage. It was soooo nice! Then after our massage Nathan too me to BJ's for lunch :) This has been the best Valentines day/weekend ever!! I love Nathan more than anything in the world, and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful man in my life.. I love you Nathan!! :)

A few weekends ago we had the chance to go and visit our friends Ben and Sheri in San Clemente. The boys got to go surfing and boogie boarding and i was able to get a few pictures of them.. but i was only able to get a video of Steven surfing and Ben boogie boarding. I wasnt able to see Nathan because he looked just like everybody else out in the water with a black wetsuit and a white surfboard :( so no video of him.. but i cant really get any of the videos up so i cant show them :( But it was so much fun to go because the boys had a ton of fun!! :)

Were Expecting!!

Nathan and I are finally expecting!! We found out this morning and couldn't be happier! We have been trying for ten months, and now we just couldn' t be happier. Im only about 6 weeks along so nothing too bad is happening now. I just have really sore breasts and i am so exhausted everyday after school. Its pretty crazy, but I love it, and we am so happy! : ) (sorry its not a very good picture)

Back To School

School started this week. I started school today at The Cosmetology Institute (Paul Mitchell School) and Steven started at San Jacinto. Steven is Nathans younger brother and has been living with us for the past month. Were both are excited to start school, and having Steven mlive with us has also been a lot of fun :) He keeps Nathan happy during the day while i am at school, so it works out well! :)

Its been a while since i've been on here.. Things have been pretty busy for us since we have been home from Texas. We finally got a place to live, and its a cute little one bedroom apartment for a great price with only a five month lease (which is exactly what we need since were leaving again in 5 months), and were back in Murrieta. Two weeks after we moved into our apartment, we went up to Utah for 5 days for my sisters birthday and a couple of parties.. We had tons of fun!

This year for Christmas our whole family was able to get together and it was so fun! On Christmas eve we all got together and played Rock Band. It was pretty fun. Everbody was really good at it, (except for me that is). But it didnt matter, it was still super fun :)

On Christmas day, it was just another fun filled day of games and my dad's infamous pizza that is so yummy and the best pizza in the entire world that is made just for us on Christmas Day each year :)

Finally Home!

Nathan and I finally got back home to Murrieta on Monday. The first thing we did was go to the beach so that Nathan could go surfing! This was his first time in 6 months and I think this was the happiest i've seen him in a long time. Surfing is one of his passions, and it is fun to watch him :)

Now we are just in the process of trying to buy a home out here in Murrieta and we are just living with Family and Friends that are out here. Were so excited to be able to get a home!

Sedona / The Grand Canyon

These are a few pictures of our little cottage that we got to stay in all week

Thanks to Nathans parents, this last week we had the chance to stay at the Sedona Pine Resort in Sedona Arizona. It has been so much fun to finally have ourselves to each other, and only each other :) At the resort we get to swim in one of the largest heated pools, the biggest jacuzzi that i have ever seen, and we love that we get to miniture golf everyday as much as we want, and its all FREE! :)

So on Thursday we went to this place called Slide Rock State Park and the water was freezing cold. Nathan went down the rock slide, and if i can figure out how to put a video on here i will post it. It was a pretty neat park and it had a lot of history to go with it.

Yesterday we had the chance to go to the Grand Canyon. It wa absolutely beautiful! We got to hike about a mile and a half down the canyon.. The hike down was super easy, but coming back up, now thats a different story. We figured that since we got such a good work out at the park, that we didnt need to go to the gym yesterday :) When we got to the bottom of where we hiked, nathan made friends with squirrel and was feeding it our trail mix. It was so cute :)

Northstar Cruise 2008

We had the chance to go on another cruise this year. Nathan earned the cruise this year with the security company that he works for. We had a lot of fun. Nathan finally got to see his brother steven after 2 years and 2 months. He loved having his brother there and it was so awesome to see how much fun they were having together. Nathan didn't even sleep the night before because he was so excited to see Steven. When we got to Cabo we got the chance to go ziplining over the Canyons. It was so fun. We had the best guides, they made it the most fun! I would love to do it again. We also had a night on the cruise where we got to dress up in our halloween costumes. I loved Nathans costume! He pulled off Superman so so well. And Stevens costume was just so funny! It was the only thing that we could find him to wear in Mexico.. (Ha Ha)

So Nathan and i have been in Utah for a week now visiting my family and some close friends. Its been so nice to have a husband again :) He has worked so hard this summer and I am so grateful for him and what he has done. He has been really successful this year and couldnt be more proud!

While we have been here we have just worked out everyday and gone shopping and seen movies and gone bowling with my family and he has even got to hang out with two of his best friends Garrett May and Nate Crump. They are way fun to hang out with! We had a big birthday party for Nathan with all of our family, he got to share it with my cousin Trent. We have also had the chance to visit my cousin Holli and Jake and we finally got to see her adorable baby Carder.. So cute!! And also we have some pics of our new neice. She was born on Nathans birthday, and she is soooo cute!

This week we are leaving for a cruise with Nathans work and are so excited! We had so much fun on our last cruise and hopefully this one will be just as fun or better.. Enjoy some of our recent pics! : )

So yesterday we went to Six Flags with a bunch of friends.. I think Nathan really liked that he actually got to do something fun for his birthday. It was such a good day. It was the perfect weather and there was not very many people there. It was awesome! I think the longest line was maybe 20 minutes, but every other ride we pretty much just walked onto. It was fun! :)

We also found out that Nathan gets to share his birthday with our new neice! Nathans sister Shannon had her baby at 10:30 in the morning yesterday. Isabella Deleen Morris is her name. We cant wait to see her when we get home!

Yesterday was Nathans birthday, and he turned 26! He is getting old! :) We went out to dinner to Texas Roadhouse on Saturday night and they put him on a saddle and sang happy birthday to him, it was fun. And then whenw e got back from dinner, Nathan opened his presents. He loved everything! (He is so easy to shop for.) He got a few shirts, a nice pair of jeans, a Volcom belt and beenie, a couple of nice dress shirts and a pair of work out shorts. It was so fun to see the look on his face when he opened his gifts.. He deserved everything that he got! He has been working so hard this summer, and we are so excited that it is almost time to leave! :)

So yesterday Nathan and I went to Sea World (right after church of course), and it was the best day that we could have possibly gone! It was so fun! First of all the weather was amazing.. It wasn't hot but it wasnt cold either..It was basically PERFECT! :) Then standing in lines for rides was awesome.. I think the longest line we even stood in was 15 min. So we would go on a ride and get off and go right back on it.. It was awesome! I wish every amusement park could be how it was yesterday.

We only went to one show and it was the Viva Show which is the Dolphin show with acrobats and divers.. I think out of all the shows that we have seen there at Sea World, that one was the best! It was so fun and energetic and so entertaining :) I would love to go back but since we only have 12 days left here there is no time! :) (but thats a good thing, were ready to leave here!)

Shlitterbahn!!

Nathan and I got the the chance to go to Schlitterbahn again this summer. We went on Sunday with Josh and Cassie and Paul and Ashley Giddings. It was a lot more fun this last time we went. I got the chance to actually take a couple of pictures. We got to go on a lot more rides that we didn't even get a chance to see the first time we went. And the park definately wasn't as crowed as it was the first time we went. It was awesome! :)

Now we have only two weeks left here and then we get to leave! YA!! And I think that next week we are gonna go to Sea World one last time :) Next week I am gonna try to take Pics while we are at Sea World.. Hopefully I dont forget ;) Here are some pics! :)

My New Car!

On Thursday Nathan and I got a new car! We got a 2007 Satfire Pearl Lexus IS 250.. We love it! But we both love it for different reasons.. I love it because I am just sick of driving a huge truck all that time that feels like I'm driving a bus, and I think it is super cute :) All the other cars I have ever driven have been old beaner cars with manual everything, and this car has automatic everything and I love it! :) Nathan loves it because he thinks that it is so great that he can drive super fast around corners, and he loves that it gets to 60 mph in 4 - 8 seconds.. He's learned to not drive like that with me in the car, so now he's only allowed to do ot when he is alone.. But i prefer he didn't. Anyways, this is our new car and we are so excited to have it, and it only costs us $50 to fill it up instead of $75 which is how much it costs to fill up our truck!

SkyDiving!!

Yesterday Nathan took me out to sky diving! It was so AMAZING! I had so much fun :) Nathan had already done it before so he let me do it with some of the guys from the office. When we first got there, I felt so sick to my stomach.. I seriously felt like I was gonna throw up! But as soon as I was on the plane and I got to the door where I was about to jump out of, all my fear totally went away.. They tell you not to look down, but i couln't help it and I did. It didn't scare me at all, it was actually pretty cool :) So anyways, it was 45 seconds of free falling, which was the best part, and then like 30 seconds of floating. This was probably the coolest thing I have ever done! I would do it again any day (if it wasn't so expensive)! Here are some funny pics of me :)

#2 Who eats more? Nathan, for sure..

#3 Who said "I love you" first? One night we were standing at our car after a movie and he really wanted to say it, but instead of saying it he said that he wasn't going to say it first. He said whenever I was ready, I can say it to him. So two nights later I said I love you to him in front of our house :)

#4 Who is taller? Nathan, but only by three inches.. barely..

#5 Who is smarter? It depends on what we're talking about... :) But overall, I believe Nathan is smarter:)

#6 Who is more sensitive? I think that would have to be a tie.. We both cry a ton, about different things.. A lot.. :)

#7 Who does the laundry? I usually do it, but every once in a while Nathan will help me with laundry and cleaning the house

#8 Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I sleep on the right side of the bed.. Nathan likes sleeping with his right arm straight out with me sleeping on it, so I have to sleep on the right side of the bed.

#9 Who pays the bills? It's about 70/30.. Nathan does 70% of it and I do 30% of them
#10 Who cooks more? I usually cook, but when Nathan is home he will cook.. He is defiantely a way better cook than I am. He has been a cook at like 3 different restraunts.

#11 Who is more stubborn? Probably me.. I just am.. I can't help it sometimes..

#12 Who is the first to admit they are wrong? Usually Nathan, because he usually is.. Or I am just too stubborn..

#13 Who has more siblings? Were tied.. I have three brothers and two sisters, and he has two brothers (one died at birth) and 3 sisters.

#14 Who wears the pants in the relationship? eh, that's up for interpretation! haha. I would say that I do, and he would probably say that he does. :) He definately has more responsibilities than I do, but were usually pretty good at making decisions together

#15 What do you like to do together? We love movies, Surfing, snow boarding, playing our Wii, bowling, eating, you name it, we usually like to do it:)

#16 Who eats more sweets? I think thats another tie for us.. Nathan can't go to bed with out a bowl of ice cream, or some thing sweet, and i jsut like sweets any time of the day:)

#17 Guilty pleasures? His Wii, Dr. Mario, and Blue Bell Ice Cream

#18 How did you meet? Well, we met in Mexico on December 23, 2006 at a young single adult trip fpr church. But that is only where we met. Atfter the trip my friend Mandi invited him to hang out with us that night and spent pretty much everty single day together after that.. (Excluding his trip to Hawaii on Valentines Day, and his summer out in Washington last year.)

#19 Who asked whom out first? I guess he did? Our first acual date was to a little mexican restraunt called Los Jilbertos back at home in Murrieta. And then I think we either saw a movie or hung out at Josh and Cassie's apartment.. That was pretty much all we eer did back then because neither of us really had jobs.. Sad I know, but i promise were doing fine now :)

#20 Who kissed who first? We both did i GUESS?? We both decided that we weren't gonna kiss (because it was the first night we met) but somehow it ended up happening.. Actually no, he kissed me first. It was still amazing like it is now :)

#21 Who proposed? Nathan did :) I drove with him from Washinton to Fresno, CA because that is where he extended for his job (and trust me i wasn't the happiest person about that decision) and I was suppose to fly back to Utah because thats where I was living at the time, but Nathan decided to tell me that he hadn't bought my ticket yet, so I didn't know what to do. Finally after being in Fresno with him for like a week and a half which was September 9, the office went out to dinner at the Cheese cake Factory and proposed to me there :) It was pretty awesome, and embarrassing at the same time because everyone and there wives were there. He difinately did a good job. And then a few days later I had to fly back home to Murrieta to plan a wedding for November 24, 2007 :)

#22 His best features and qualities? Well, I think that he is very handsome, and I love everything about him! He is a very, very hard worker, it absolutely amazes me at how hard he works. And I also love that he is very good at apologizing. Whenever he gets mad at me or if he ever gets mad at me he is very quick to apologize and tell me he loves me and why he loves me, and I LOVE that he is like that..

Last Sunday we had the chance to go to Seaworld in San Antonio with Paul and Ashley and their cute little daughter Brooklynn, and Jenna and Andrew Rammell. We had so much fun, and I wish that I would have taken more pictures. My most favorite thing there was the Sea Lion Show, and the Shamu show, and the Great White Shark ride. So I actually had three favorite things, I just couldn't decide which one I liked the best. We got season passes, so I am definately looking forward to going more, and maybe even getting to see a dolphin show next time.

Illinois

Last week I got the chance to go to Illinois with my mom and sister. We had a lot of fun together :) My mom had her 30 year high school reunion so we got to meet all of her friends from high school.. It was quite interesting.

Then we had the chance to go to Nauvoo and Carthage Jail. It was really amazing. I learnned so much about Joesph Smith and what it was like for him when he was in Jail and it was awesome to see where Joesph Smith and Brigham Young and their families lived. I think everyone needs to take the chance to go there because its amazing :)

Kayaking and More Bowling

On Sunday, Nathan and I had the chance to go Kayaking before church,(since our ward meets at 2:00). It was really fun. It was my first time so I was kind of nervous, but it was actually way easy! Its actually nice out here when your in the water playing:) Nathan likes to make sure we go out and do things whenever we can, (which is sundays). He won't ever lay around the apartment and do nothing.. We always have to do something, which is fine with me since I'm at the apartment almost all day anyways.

Today Nathan took me out for lunch and bowling for my birthday. It was fun, we didn't know what else to do so we just went bowling.. again.. But it was nice to be able to spend a little time with him before I leave for a eight days. My birthday isn't actually til tomorrow, but i'm not going to be around tomorrow. Nathan is letting me go to Illinois for a week with my mom and sister. My mom grew up in Illinois and she is having her 30 year high school reunion. So were gonna go visit some family that we don't ever see and go to Nauvoo for a few days :) I'm pretty excited about Nauvoo, it will be fun :)

Bowling

So Nathan and I finally did something when he got off of work. We went bowling and had tons of fun. We went to lunch earlier in the day, and then as soon as he got off we did some bowling. Of course Nathan beat me, but we still had a ton of fun! :)

Trip to Houston

Last weekend RJ, Katie, Nathan and I had the chance to drive down to Houston to visit with my grandparents. We got there on Saturday night and went to a nice Resteraunt and got some awesome steaks.. Then on Sunday they took us to the Houston Space Center. It was so fun. This was mine and RJ'S 2nd time there , but it was Nathan and Katie'sm first time. It is a really cool experience. It is so crazy what you find out there. It is unbelievable how much money and time is spent just for NASA. So after our fun filled day at the space center we drove down to Galvastan where the Gulf of Mexico is. It was nice to finally see the beach agaiin. It has been way too long, and you should have seen Nathans eyes light up. He was checking out every single wave and every single surfer. He definatly was wishing he was out there surfing too. Poor Guy..
So right after that we headed back to my grandparents house where my grandpa decided to BBQ so steak for us. It was really yummy. So right after that we all went to bed and then woke up early the next morning so that we could get the boys back to work on time :)

On Sunday, Nathan and I got to go to Rascal Flatts concert here in Austin Texas. It was so much fun!! We went with our friends Cherelle and Ryan. Taylor Swift opened the concert and it was so fun to watch her. Then Rascal Flatts finished off the concert with an amazing performance. I love Rascal Flatts and can't wait to go to another Rascal Flatts concert :)

Volley Ball Correlation

Yesterday, the boys had a chance to play volleyball. Every every week the office has a sports correlation which gets the guys out to do something fun before they have to work. They usually get to do some water volleyball in the pool, but they had so much fun playing sand volley ball that they did it again yesterday. But i don't know how they do it, is so hard to breath out here!

Tubing at the Guadalupe River

Last Sunday, Nathan and I finally got the chance to go out and do something fun! We went to the Guadalupe River just a little south of Austin. It was so fun and it was nice and relaxing. It was about a 4 hour ride down the river. It was so nice to finally hang out with my cute husband.. He works so much and we only get to do anything together after 10:30 at night or on Sundays, so doing this together was pretty much the first thing that we have really had the chance to do that was fun since we have been here in Texas. Here are Nathan and R.J. off to work. Poor guys work so hard and don't have time for anything else. It is so hot and humid here and I don't know how they can stand walking around in this heat and humidity all day long, everyday. But it is all worth it in the end :) I love them both and good luck to them both for the rest of the summer!!

We Miss California!

So we have been in Texas now for 6 almost 7 weeks! Its not going by as fast as we thought it would.. We miss being home in California where we could go to the beach and surf, and we definately miss all of our friends out in California. Well at least i do, all of Nathans friends are out here working with him, so he is not as bad off as I am. But I'm not going to complain too much because he is doing amazing out here! And all we get to do when we get back from Texas is Vacation! Here are some of our Califonia memories that y'all can enjoy! :)

Living in Texas

So Nathan and I have been living in Texas now for about a month. It has been really fun here, but also really hot and humid.. We have my brother R.J. living here with us until his wife gets here from washington. He is out here selling security with Nathan and they are both doing really well :)

We really haven't been able to go and do anything really fun because the boys are working all the time!! But what Nathan and R.J. really like to do is go this Wings and Rings place and eat buffalo wings til they can;t eat anymore. Pretty Gross, I know. We are suppose to go to a water park out here close by in San Marcos called Shliterbauns. Its suppose to be one of the biggest water parks in the world! That will be tons of fun, I'll make sure i posts pictures when we do that! :)
